CrewFactors enables users to assess critical team communication skills using this app with two iOS devices.
CrewFactors records speech while teams of two are undertaking a collaborative task in a classroom or simulator. The audio recorded is sent to a cloud based platform for processing.
A range of performance metrics are generated from the speech signals (non-verbal cues in speech like pitch, rhythm and tone) and then visualised in the app, including;
- communication effectiveness,
- team balance,
- speaking/listening volumes,
- team engagement levels.
